N is for     Nongkhai

 P is for              Pig

 F is for        Form

Iya Gallery:  this sculpture has a pig it also has the wall and the floor. Imagine you pitched your sofa out and replaced it with the Nongkhai Pig Form. By giving it lots of space you could walk around it and you would see that the wall is like a new scene, you can't see whats behind it, if you go in reverse just to be sure, its a simular conclusion. The man just got on the airplane and bingo next scene he is in LA. in his pajamas brushing his teeth!
If you do not want to follow this line of thinking and perfer something  more traditional, you may view older sculptures by  clicking on this site:                         http://scottmalthouse.blogspot.com

ENLARGEMENTS: sculptures can be enlarged, by French standards  there can be three different sizes and if there is only one copy in each they remain unique.  SO WHY?

Do you see the white speck on the chair? thats the guy in Nongkhai having his lunch, BIG enough to live in.

Traditionaly excepted cast sculptures were in edition of twelve  , 3 artist proofs (AP) followed by 4/12  5/12 etc.  This made them more valuable in the world art market.  The signature of the sculptor, the date cast and the mark of the foundry which makes the copy, are equally as important if not more. To view some sculptures that do not follow these rules go to the stores that tell you brass is bronze. To view sculptures made in bronze, in larger editions, go to or click on this site. http://maltsculpturehouse.blogspot.com
